MSI Racing Products Racing Wheel Studs are CNC machined from a proprietary, traceable steel, then heat treated to 185,000 psi for strength and durability.

Unlike other products that have machined, or cut threads, that remove material, MSI utilizes CNC Thread Forming Dies that utilize high pressure to form the threads into the steel. This compressive forming operation re-aligns the grain structure of the steel creating a far superior thread shape that is more consistent and durable for the multiple cycles a typical racing wheel stud experiences over its lifetime.  

MSI then applies a proprietary low-friction Teflon-Moly coating that ensures consistent wheel torque by reducing thread friction.

All MSI wheel studs are laser marked with a part number and manufacture date prior to packaging for traceability. 

The Dark Horse R Rear Stud is a legal replacement for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge Racing Series. 

The Dark Horse R stud will fit any hub that utilizes .625” diameter Knurl.

This stud is a direct replacement for the Ford Racing Part Number: M-1107-E GT350R EXTENDED WHEEL STUD AND NUT KIT.
