MSI Racing Products Racing Wheel Studs are CNC machined from a proprietary, traceable steel, then heat treated to 185,000 psi for strength and durability.

Unlike other products that have machined, or cut threads, that remove material, MSI utilizes CNC Thread Forming Dies that utilize high pressure to form the threads into the steel. This compressive forming operation re-aligns the grain structure of the steel creating a far superior thread shape that is more consistent and durable for the multiple cycles a typical racing wheel stud experiences over its lifetime.  

MSI then applies a proprietary low-friction Teflon-Moly coating that ensures consistent wheel torque by reducing thread friction.

All MSI wheel studs are laser marked with a part number and manufacture date prior to packaging for traceability. 

We introduced the RSPEC Racing Wheel Stud around 8 years ago and it has become the industry standard wheel stud for large wheel fitments requiring wheel spacers up to 50mm. 

This RSPEC stud will work with the OEM Carbon Wheels on the GT350R and GT500.

Recently redesigned with an extended shoulder to support the rotor hat and additional shoulder profile changes to improve overall toughness in the hardest competition environments. 

The RSPEC wheel stud will fit any hub that utilizes .625” diameter Knurl.

We have a matching RSPEC Mid-Length Racing Wheel Stud which is designed for rear fitment or used on the front with up to a 17mm spacer and will work with the OEM Rear Carbon Wheels on the GT350R and GT500
